Lost Foam Casting Method

Parts that use multiple cores with complex shapes and parts that prioritize appearance have advantages!

The lost foam casting method, "LOSTFOAM," uses a foam model that has been processed according to the purpose, which is coated with a refractory material (mold coating) to create a mold. This mold is then buried in dry sand, and molten metal is poured directly into it. The foam model disappears instantly at the high temperature of the molten metal (approximately 1400°C) and is immediately replaced by the molten metal, allowing for the production of cast products. Our company primarily produces automotive parts, but this casting method is adopted in a wide range of fields, including art and crafts. **Features** - It allows for the production of complex castings with excellent dimensional accuracy in near net shape, simply by burying models made from lightweight expanded polystyrene that anyone can easily assemble. - The sand used is 100% reusable, making the production process environmentally friendly. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.*
